Lavigne stopped by her favourite hometown pizza parlour, La Pizzeria, on Feb.
21, to visit with long-time friends Bill and Marina Kosmopoulos, and their son
Kostas. Besides indulging in a tasty cheese-laden treat, she also dropped off a
special gift, a framed memento of the success of her latest album, The Best Damn Thing. Only special friends, family and record company officials get this sort of gift, which marked sales of six millions CDs, 15 million track downloads, 100 million audio streams and 300 million video streams. “She’s a good kid. There’s no doubt about it, she’s a good kid. She never forgets where she came from.” Lavigne was also in the area to visit friends and family. On Monday of this week, her new fragrance, Black Star, was announced.
